Canna Brae Pearly Shells, 1.1 meters tall

Canna Brae Pearly Shells with large flowers that opens from soft apricot buds to reveal gorgeous shadings of pearl flowers that are so softly brushed with soft apricot and a divine shell pink, flowers progress to an overall pink tone as they slowly age. This delightful canna Pearly Shells was raised pre 2008 by Anne Glancy of the now defunct Canna Brae Nursery. Pearly Shells flowers are held above green foliage that show a red margin and edgings on new growth with strong sturdy stems, Pearly Shells reaches just above 1.1 meters tall in my garden, I use a 3 meter long curtain rod that is marked at 10cm increments to get a true height for my plants, they are measured from the top of the soil to the top of their flowers and Pearly Shells also sets seed.
