Rhizome Plants Division Examples
Canna Bubblegum a very pretty flowering canna indeed, with stunning flowers that open from a scarlet tone and in the blink of the eye they appear deep vibrant pink with a very slight irregular yellow occasional trim, stamen shows some yellowing and leave are green. This is my second flowering season growing canna Bubblegum however it is still only branching one sometimes two flowering heads per stem, not a good trait however I'm still hopeful this will increase as Bubblegum's rich flowers look pretty amazing. Bubblegum has reached a maximum height of just on 1.2 meters tall in my garden over two growing seasons though is reputed to grow up to 1.6 meter tall. New growth on Bubblegum is closely packed stems that grow and snap off a plump stocky rhizome, hence divisions generally do not show abundant rhizome attached like many other varieties do, another in the Gle Series of Australian raised cannas.
