Canna Ivor Evans

Canna Ivor Evans a seldom seen heirloom 1930's canna with big cupped and upright formed flowers of apricot orange with splotched yellow labellum and stamen, blooms also show a slight irregular yellow trim. Through the hottest days of summer Ivor Evans presents his flowers as dark reddish orange held well above green foliage. This Heirloom beauty reaches just over 2.5 meters tall in my garden. Like most of the large flowering Orchid types and the Italian flowering types of Ivor is also classed as being a sterile non seed producing variety.
